What sizes do you offer?

Our RTW collection is available in XSmall through XLarge. We also offer custom sizing for all couture pieces and alterations on RTW items. See our Size Guide for detailed measurements.

Is FERN truly gender-inclusive?

Yes. Every piece we design is intended to be worn by anyone, regardless of gender. Our sizing is body-based, not gender-based. For couture, we take 39 individual measurements to ensure a perfect fit for your unique body.

What materials do you use?

We primarily work with silk charmeuse, silk georgette, French lace, wool crepe, and silk satin. Many of our fabrics are deadstock or remnant materials sourced through our partnership with FABSCRAP, a NYC-based fabric reuse nonprofit.

How long does a custom/couture piece take?

Typically 4-8 weeks depending on complexity. Simple alterations on RTW pieces take 1-2 weeks. Made-to-order RTW items ship within 2-4 weeks.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently we ship within the United States. International shipping is available for couture orders. Please contact us for details.

What is your return policy?

RTW items may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unworn, unaltered, and with tags attached. Couture and made-to-order pieces are final sale. See our Shipping & Returns page for full details.

Can I pay in installments?

Yes. We accept PayPal Pay in 4 for qualifying orders, allowing you to split your purchase into 4 interest-free payments.

Where is your atelier?

We are based in New York City. Couture consultations are available in-person at our atelier or virtually worldwide.

How do I care for my FERN pieces?

Most silk pieces should be hand washed cold and laid flat to dry. Corsets and structured pieces should be spot cleaned or dry cleaned. See our Garment Care guide for specific instructions.
